A 24-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle on the AP-7 as it passes through Dénia in Alicante. According to regional health officials, the incident occurred on Wednesday shortly after 13:00, when the man had just stepped out of a car on the roadside.
The Centre for Information and Coordination of Emergencies received the alert and immediately dispatched medical staff to the scene. A SAMU emergency unit responded, but the medical team could only confirm the young man’s death on arrival.
Local authorities have not released further details about the circumstances leading up to the collision. The incident remains under investigation.
