A new parking regulation has come into force on Ramón Gallud Street in central Torrevieja. The measure applies from Tuesday 15 September and limits parking to two hours on weekdays between 8am and 8pm. Outside the regulated hours, from 8pm to 8am, drivers can park without a time limit. The Red Cross has begun the second year of an emotional wellbeing and suicide prevention programme at La Encantá Secondary School in Rojales. A 56-year-old man who set himself alight outside the courts in Cartagena on Friday has died from his injuries. He died on Saturday morning at the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital in Murcia.
