Two-hour parking limit introduced on central Torrevieja street

A new parking regulation has come into force on Ramón Gallud Street in central Torrevieja. The measure applies from Tuesday 15 September and limits parking to two hours on weekdays between 8am and 8pm. Outside the regulated hours, from 8pm to 8am, drivers can park without a time limit. The restriction also does not apply on non-working days. Three arrested after cannabis farm found inside San Miguel de Salinas house

The Guardia Civil has dismantled a large cannabis-growing operation inside a house in San Miguel de Salinas and arrested three men aged 34, 53 and 57. The men are accused of drug trafficking, belonging to a criminal group and electricity theft. Man dies after setting himself alight outside Cartagena courts

A 56-year-old man who set himself alight outside the courts in Cartagena on Friday has died from his injuries. He died on Saturday morning at the Virgen de la Arrixaca University Hospital in Murcia.
