A Local Police officer has been injured in Guardamar del Segura after a minor was detected riding an electric scooter at a reported speed of 87 kilometres per hour. According to police, officers intervened after spotting the teenager travelling in a reckless manner. A fire has destroyed the well-known abandoned mud spa building in the Natural Park of Torrevieja lagoon, sending a dense column of smoke visible from several kilometres away, including nearby Los Montesinos.
