Valencian teachers to begin indefinite strike from 11 May

Non-university teachers in the Valencian Community will begin an indefinite strike from 11 May following a vote organised by the STEPV, UGT and CCOO unions. A man has been arrested in Torrevieja after allegedly beating a cat to death in the street on Monday. The animal belonged to his former partner.
