Sundays on TKO Radio – Because who doesn’t love a good countdown (and a bit of sass)?

Broadcasting from somewhere glamorous (probably with better weather than you’ve got), Spencer James brings you the Airplay40 — the official chart of the biggest tunes being blasted across Europe’s English-speaking stations. From Marbella to Malta, Cyprus to the Costa Blanca, these are the hits that have everyone reaching for the volume… or at least pretending they know the lyrics.

Each week, Spencer serves up bangers, climbers, surprise entries, and the odd musical misstep (we’re looking at you, novelty single). He throws in celeb gossip, a nostalgic “Rewind” track, and just enough smugness to make you wonder if he’s doing the show in speedos.

It’s slick, it’s stylish, and it’s got more hits than your nan’s WhatsApp group.

Spencer James

I have been working in the media for over 15 years, and I've been broadcasting for nearly a decade. In that time, I've been the programming controller for the UK's first bilingual student radio station, served as the Production & Promotions Manager for one of Spain's biggest English radio networks, and hosted drive time and breakfast shows on stations in the south east of the UK. I've also had the pleasure of hosting The eXpat Chart. In addition to my radio work, I have experience as a camera operator, video director, and editor. I'm also well-versed in web design. When I'm not behind the microphone, you can find me enthusiastically cheering on the England rugby team and attempting to navigate a golf ball around the course. I also enjoy creating and experimenting in the kitchen, where I try my hand at inventing new and exciting recipes.
