Pilar de la Horadada has officially begun its Christmas season with the switch‑on of its festive lights and the unveiling of the Municipal Nativity Scene. The Festivals Department has prepared a packed schedule of family‑friendly events running from December through to Three Kings Day on 5 January. Organisers say the aim is to offer a warm community atmosphere for residents and visitors throughout the holidays.

A key addition this year is “Pilar de la Horadada Magical: Light and Fantasy”, which opens on 19 December at 7pm in 30 July Park. The programme also includes a Christmas window display competition, concerts by local music groups, escape rooms, storytelling sessions and film screenings at the Civic Centre.

Other attractions include a visit from Santa Claus on 23 December, DJ afternoons on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, and the San Silvestre Pilarense on 31 December. Children can also meet the Royal Pages between 2 and 5 January, ahead of the grand Three Kings Parade.

The Ayuntamiento says the programme is designed to appeal to all ages, offering a mix of culture, entertainment and tradition to carry the community through the festive period.
