Carlos Javier Llorca Martínez has formally left his notary post in Novelda and taken office as the new notary of Torrevieja. He has handed over his former protocol to local notary María del Mar Belchi Vicente before assuming his new position. His arrival fills the vacancy created by the departure of notary Tatiana Pilar Martín Ruiz.

Llorca Martínez will now serve residents from his office on Rambla Juan Mateo García, 21, second floor left. Contact numbers for the office are 865 680 156 and 685 825 832.

This appointment follows the publication of Decree 164/2025 in the Diari Oficial de la Generalitat Valenciana, which sets out the allocation of vacant notary positions in Torrevieja, Valencia, Ibi, Torrent, Carlet and Monóvar. The decree stems from a competitive process launched by the Directorate General for Legal Security and Public Faith.

With the new appointment, Torrevieja once again has eight practising notaries: Carlos Javier Llorca Martínez, María Dolores Alburquerque Rodríguez, José Julio Barrenechea García, Clara González Gómez, María Luz Hernández Imbernón, Juan Elías Margarit Robles, Jorge Mínguez Balaguer and José Antonio Pérez Álvarez.
