A thirty-three-year-old man has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in a three-storey home on Calle Pablo y Marco in Torre Pacheco. The incident occurred on Saturday and prompted a response from the Consorcio de Extinción de Incendios de la Región de Murcia (CEIS). Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control shortly after arriving.
An emergency mobile unit from the regional health emergency service, 061, provided medical assistance at the scene. The man received first aid for symptoms of smoke inhalation but did not need to be taken to hospital.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the fire. Local officials say an assessment of the damage and a routine investigation will follow as standard procedure.
