Spain’s Civil Guard has detained two people in Torre Pacheco and Madrid following an investigation into the online circulation of intimate images of a girl who was sixteen when the photos were taken. The victim, now an adult, reported the matter after a friend alerted her to the images on an internet forum.
Specialist officers from the Judicial Police branch examined digital evidence to identify those responsible. They confirmed that the images, which were sexual in nature, qualified as child pornography due to the victim’s age at the time.
Investigators gathered and analysed all available clues, leading to the identification of two suspects. With their identities confirmed, officers launched search operations in both municipalities.
The operation, named Hedone, concluded with both suspects being located and arrested. The Civil Guard has also closed the forum to prevent further distribution of the material.
