Parque Reina Sofía in Guardamar will host the second edition of Gastronavidad from 5 to 8 December. The event brings together street food, cultural activities and festive entertainment designed for families to enjoy throughout the day. Food trucks from across the area will offer a mix of American‑style dishes, Mediterranean plates, sweets and more elaborate cooking.

The festival opens on Friday afternoon with dance performances, a children’s mini disco and live music. Across the four days, visitors can enjoy showcookings, comedy, DJ sessions, charity bingo, storytelling, magic shows and fitness demonstrations. A dedicated schedule of children’s workshops, including biscuit‑decorating sessions, will run continuously.

A new feature this year is a festive carousel, with visitors receiving a free ride for every purchase worth more than ten euros. Organisers say this detail enhances the Christmas atmosphere and encourages families to take part in the full programme.

The festival concludes on Monday afternoon, following a final showcooking led by local chef Marcos Boza. Live music will continue until 17:00, rounding off an edition designed to highlight Guardamar’s food culture and community spirit.
