A motorcyclist, approximately fifty years of age, was injured this Sunday morning after colliding with a wild boar on the RM four hundred twenty-four road that connects Pinoso and Yecla. The incident occurred shortly after eight o’clock, prompting a call to the Emergency Coordination Centre.
In response to the accident, both the Guardia Civil and a mobile unit from the Emergency and Health Management services were dispatched to the scene. Emergency personnel provided immediate first aid to the injured man.
After assessing his condition, the medical team decided it was necessary to transport him to Virgen del Castillo Hospital in Yecla due to multi-trauma injuries.
Authorities are investigating the incident while encouraging motorists to remain vigilant on the roads, particularly in areas where wildlife may cross.
