Agreement reached to allow Maricarmen to return home
An agreement has been reached to allow 87-year-old Maricarmen to return to her Madrid home, just days after she was evicted from the property where she had lived for more than 70 years.
Her representatives met the property company Urbagestión and the Madrid City Council today, with the company agreeing to a solution that would allow her to return.
The details of the agreement have not yet been made public, and Maricarmen will have to give her approval.
She has spent the past week in hospital following the eviction.
