Spain’s economy grows by 0.7% in second quarter
Spain’s economy grew by zero-point-seven percent between April and June, according to the latest figures from the National Statistics Institute.
The increase was one tenth higher than in the first quarter, while the economy grew by two-point-six percent compared with the same period last year.
Household spending increased by one-point-two percent during the quarter, while investment rose by one-point-seven percent.
Employment, measured in full-time equivalent jobs, was up two-point-two percent year on year.
