Catral Local Police have carried out two significant interventions, resulting in the arrest of two men for separate offences. The first incident followed the activation of an alarm at a local business, alerting officers to a possible intrusion at the premises.

Security cameras showed an individual inside the site, prompting officers to set up surveillance around possible exits. A short time later, the suspect was seen leaving the property and attempting to flee, abandoning several stolen items. Police recovered the items and later detained the man on suspicion of burglary with force, involving climbing to gain access.

In a separate operation, officers on preventive patrol along Avenida de la Purísima noticed a man standing in the middle of the road, creating a serious risk to road safety. When asked to move to a safe area, he refused to comply and became aggressive.

Police say the man threatened officers, resisted arrest and caused injuries during a struggle. He was detained on suspicion of several offences, including serious disobedience, resistance, public disorder, assault on a police officer and serious threats.
