Los Montesinos Town Hall has begun improvement works at the auditorium of the School of Music and Culture, a landmark venue that is celebrating its twenty-fifth anniversary in 2026. The space has long been a focal point for cultural events, learning and community life in the municipality.

The project, fully funded by the council, includes renewing the lighting, upgrading the sound system, updating the stage flooring and replacing the curtains. The aim is to enhance the technical conditions of the auditorium and ensure it remains a modern, functional and welcoming venue for a wide range of cultural activities.

The councillor for Culture, Rosa Belén Morán Paredes, has said the improvements help protect and highlight a space that is especially valued by local residents, at a time when it marks a quarter of a century of shared history. She added that the council has worked to keep culture varied, accessible and free for all ages.

Mayor José Manuel Butrón has described investment in culture as an investment in the town’s present and future, saying the refurbishment reinforces the council’s commitment to culture as a key part of social development in Los Montesinos.
