The Local Police of Cartagena have recovered four vehicles reported stolen at different points across the municipality. Two were found parked, a third was abandoned in a rural area with extensive damage, and a fourth, which was carrying four occupants, was stopped; the occupants fled and later abandoned the car in a street in Pozo Estrecho. The recoveries were made between 17 and 23 November by officers attached to the Traffic and Mobility unit, Districts and the Special Operational Group for Citizen Security.
All four vehicles have been taken to the municipal impound and remain at the disposal of the judicial authority because they are linked to different criminal incidents. The cases are under investigation by national law enforcement agencies. Municipal sources said no further details were released pending those enquiries.
