CGT has called strike action at Amazon’s RMU1 logistics centre in Corvera, in the Region of Murcia, for 26–28 November and 16–23 December 2025. The union has said the decision responds to a “constant deterioration of working conditions” and to what it describes as a lack of willingness from management to hold meaningful talks.

After a meeting held on 10 November at the Office of Mediation and Labour Arbitration (OMAL), USO and eight legally recognised worker representatives have joined CGT’s call. CGT says it has exhausted all available channels — meetings, mediations and complaints to the Labour Inspectorate — and that the company’s response has been silence and indifference, generating frustration and loss of confidence among staff.

Workers at RMU1 have reported stagnant wages, repeated payroll errors, unfair rotations, lack of training and unequal treatment. CGT is demanding a real increase in base salary and a review of bonuses, payment for Sundays worked, immediate correction of payroll errors, fairer shift allocations, proper recognition of workplace accidents and an end to arbitrary dismissals and breaches of legal leave.

The union has called for active participation and solidarity during the strike, noting that the dates coincide with the peak Black Friday and Christmas period. The call has been backed by a number of activists, trade unionists and organisations across the region and beyond.
