On Saturday 22 November a ticket sold in Ciudad Quesada, in the municipality of Rojales, has won the first prize in the National Lottery Saturday draw. The winning number was 74622 with refund digit 1-2-6. The top prize of €60,000 was paid at the administration on Avenida Naciones 11. The ticket was sold to a local resident.

The Lotería Nacional is drawn from printed décimos. A billete comprises ten décimos with the same number and series and each décimo is identified by its fraction. Draws take place on Thursdays and Saturdays, with five balls numbered zero to nine determining the five digits of the winning number and prizes paid for matching five, four, three, two or one digits. Thursday décimos usually cost €3 with a typical first prize of €30,000 and a special series-and-fraction prize of €1,470,000, while Saturday décimos are sold at various prices — €6, €12, €15 or €20 — with a first prize that ranges from €60,000 to €130,000 and an additional series prize.
