The Consell has given the green light for the creation of the Colegio de Educación Infantil y Primaria Número 20, which will be located at number eight Níspero Street in Orihuela Costa. This new educational facility will have a total of four hundred and fifty places available for students, divided into one hundred and fifty for infant education and three hundred for primary education.

The decision to establish this school comes as a response to the growing demand for educational places in the area. The CEIP Número 20 is designed to help accommodate students from the overcrowded CEIP Los Dolses and CEIP Playas de Orihuela, ensuring that children have access to quality educational facilities.

The new school complex comprises eighteen units, including six dedicated to second cycle infant education and twelve for primary education. This initiative aims to provide an educational environment that meets the needs of the increasing number of students while maintaining space and quality standards.

With the establishment of CEIP Número 20, the Consell is addressing the urgent need for additional school places, ultimately enhancing the education system in Orihuela Costa and contributing positively to the community’s growth.
