Turisme Comunidad Valenciana has recently provided nineteen thousand eight hundred metres of new rigid wooden walkways to sixty coastal municipalities. This initiative, backed by an investment of eight hundred eighty-one thousand one hundred euros plus Value Added Tax of one hundred eighty-five thousand thirty-one euros, aims to enhance beach accessibility and comfort for visitors. The walkways, measuring one point two metres in width, will facilitate mobility and prevent burns from hot sand.

The walkways have been designed to integrate seamlessly with existing structures, ensuring functionality and durability along the coast. The Consell’s commitment to inclusive and safe beaches is highlighted by Marián Cano, the Consellera for Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism. She emphasises the importance of these improvements for both tourists and local users during the summer season.

Furthermore, Cano states that maintaining the excellence and quality of Valencian beaches is a priority. With the coastline being a key attraction for tourism in the region, the Generalitat is dedicated to providing the best services and infrastructure to enhance visitor experiences. The installation of these walkways is a crucial step toward achieving that goal, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Comunidad Valenciana.
