Two individuals were arrested in the early hours of Sunday in Guardamar del Segura, following an alleged robbery at a gas station in Torrevieja. According to the Torrevieja police, they received a call regarding the robbery and quickly located the suspicious vehicle. Despite police signals to stop, the suspects chose to ignore them and fled, initiating a high-speed chase.

The pursuit involved multiple patrols from the local police, extending into the territory of Guardamar del Segura. The suspects ultimately lost control of their vehicle, which became immobilised in a wooded area. In an attempt to escape on foot, they were swiftly apprehended by Torrevieja officers.

Following their arrest, both suspects were taken into custody and are now at the disposal of judicial authorities. The police department expressed gratitude towards the cooperation received from the Guardia Civil of Torrevieja and the local police of Guardamar del Segura, who also contributed to the intervention.

This effective teamwork highlights the strong coordination between different law enforcement entities, ensuring public safety in the area.
