Benidorm barman jailed for homophobic abuse and assault

The Provincial Court of Alicante has sentenced a barman at a Benidorm pub to six months in prison for humiliating two customers because of their sexual orientation. The court ruled that the offence was committed in violation of fundamental rights and public freedoms protected by the Constitution. He was also fined 1,080 euros.
