UNED Torrevieja has announced a new scientific outreach and environmental education programme for Year Six primary pupils. A new parking regulation has come into force on Ramón Gallud Street in central Torrevieja. The measure applies from Tuesday 15 September and limits parking to two hours on weekdays between 8am and 8pm. Outside the regulated hours, from 8pm to 8am, drivers can park without a time limit. The restriction also does not apply on non-working days. The Guardia Civil has dismantled a large cannabis-growing operation inside a house in San Miguel de Salinas and arrested three men aged 34, 53 and 57. The men are accused of drug trafficking, belonging to a criminal group and electricity theft.
