Princess Leonor took part on Saturday in an inter-university regatta held in Santiago de la Ribera, joining fellow competitors as one more participant in the sporting event.
The canoeing competition took place at Barnuevo beach, where teams from the University of Murcia, the General Air Academy and King Juan Carlos University in Madrid competed against one another.
The event ran from 9am until 2pm and brought together students and military trainees in a display of teamwork and sporting spirit. The Princess’s participation reflects her ongoing training at the General Air Academy.
