Almoradí has hosted hundreds of motorcyclists for the second Blessing of Motorcycles and Helmets ceremony, held near the Ermita del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús in Puente Don Pedro. Organisers say the turnout exceeded expectations, confirming the event as a key date in the town’s festive and social calendar.

The gathering began with a biker meet-up marked by music and a strong sense of community. Participants travelled from across the surrounding region, culminating in a large group photograph reflecting the scale of attendance.

One of the most significant moments of the day came when Almoradí’s parish priest carried out the blessing of motorcycles and helmets, a ritual combining religious tradition with a message of road safety. The location is now recognised as the first sanctuary dedicated to the blessing of motorcycles in the Valencian Community.

The event was organised by Motopeña Los Arcasiles and the Puente Don Pedro Fiesta Commission, with support from Almoradí Town Council, Civil Protection and the Pedanías and Tourism departments. Organisers have thanked all participants and collaborators for contributing to the success of the initiative.
