Expo Torrevieja 2026 has closed after two intense days at the International Auditorium, once again confirming its place as one of the most important dates in the local calendar. Organisers estimated attendance at close to 10,000 visitors, with more than 180 exhibitors taking part.

The official opening was led by the mayor, Eduardo Dolón, joined by the provincial deputy for Youth and Culture, Juan de Dios Navarro, and councillors Federico Alarcón and Gitte Lund Thomsen. Over the weekend, visitors explored stands ranging from estate agents and financial advisers to technology firms, health specialists and craft businesses, reflecting the economic strength of the Vega Baja.

The popular Clubs and Associations Zone expanded this year, giving residents – particularly newcomers – the chance to connect with sports, cultural and charitable groups. A strong charity presence highlighted the community spirit that has defined the event since it began.

Live music and performances, including a violin trio from the Casanovas Orchestra directed by José F. Sánchez, added to the festive atmosphere. A display of classic cars, motorcycles and scooters also drew large crowds, reinforcing the exhibition’s reputation as a key social and commercial showcase in southern Alicante province.
