Two men aged 25 and 31 have been arrested in Almoradí, Alicante, as suspected perpetrators of eight property offences committed during the early hours of 21 February. According to the Guardia Civil, the crimes include seven counts of breaking into vehicles and one count of theft.

The investigation began after a member of the public alerted police to two individuals allegedly removing items from a parked car. Officers from the Guardia Civil and Almoradí Local Police located the suspects nearby and arrested them at the scene.

During a search of the area, officers found three large plastic sacks containing tools, clothing, footwear, electronic devices, sunglasses and perfumes, believed to have been taken from other vehicles. A wider search identified eight vehicles with signs of forced entry, and efforts were made to contact the owners and return recovered property.

Security camera footage later confirmed the two men as the alleged offenders. They were brought before the Investigating Court in Orihuela and have since been released on bail with precautionary measures while awaiting trial. Police say public cooperation was key to solving the case.
