A 40-year-old man has been injured in a head-on collision on the RM-F22 road near Las Casicas in Torre Pacheco.
Emergency services received several calls at 3.20pm on Tuesday reporting a crash on the RM-F22 in the direction of Balsicas, around two kilometres from the Las Casicas area. Guardia Civil officers, firefighters from the Murcia Region Fire and Rescue Consortium, and a 061 ambulance were sent to the scene.
On arrival, crews confirmed that two cars had collided head-on. Firefighters rescued one of the drivers, who had become trapped inside his vehicle. After being stabilised by 061 medical staff, the 40-year-old man was taken to Los Arcos del Mar Menor Hospital for further treatment.
