A section of the N-301 has been ranked among the most dangerous roads in Spain, according to a new report published on Monday by Automovilistas Europeos Asociados (AEA).
The study draws on the latest available data from the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. It identifies the most hazardous stretches across conventional roads, dual carriageways and motorways, including both toll and free routes.
According to the analysis, two sections of conventional roads in the region are among the 295 highest-risk stretches in the national road network. In addition, nine sections of the AP-7 motorway within the region are listed among the 100 stretches with the greatest accident risk in the country.
AEA says the findings highlight specific points where drivers face an increased likelihood of serious incidents, particularly on curves, junctions and uneven surfaces.
