Princess Leonor has drawn attention after making one of her most talked-about outings of the academic year, with a quiet lunch in Pilar de la Horadada, in the south of Alicante province. The future queen, who is continuing her military training at the General Air and Space Academy in San Javier, visited the Asador La Terrazita de Cristóbal with three fellow cadets.

The visit took place on Friday at midday and was described as low-key. Leonor sat inside the restaurant with her companions, while security personnel occupied a nearby table and monitored the surroundings. Many customers on the terrace were reportedly unaware that the princess was dining inside.

She opted for a simple meal of a hamburger and a cola at the popular local restaurant, known for its relaxed atmosphere and reasonably priced dishes, some costing around 15 euros. Staff at the establishment did not comment publicly, maintaining discretion about the visit.

Pilar de la Horadada is only a short drive from San Javier, making it a convenient destination during a demanding period of military instruction. Princess Leonor is now in the second half of her training in the Region of Murcia and is expected to complete this stage in July, before receiving several institutional honours marking the end of her time at the academy.
