Orihuela Town Hall has launched a new website designed to make it easier for residents and property owners in Orihuela Costa to report problems with roads and public spaces.

The service is run by the municipal company Ecoplan Servicios and is available in English, German, French and Spanish, reflecting the area’s large international community. Users can take a photo of the issue, pinpoint the exact location on a map and submit the report in seconds from a mobile phone or computer.

Residents can report a wide range of everyday concerns, including potholes, damaged pavements and kerbs, faded road markings, missing or broken street signs, beach equipment, walkways, cycle lanes and public parking areas.

Ecoplan Servicios is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of public spaces along the coast. The company says the new system will improve communication with the public, speed up response times and help create a cleaner, safer and more functional environment for everyone who lives in or visits Orihuela Costa.
