The Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, has presented the eleventh edition of the Consumption Voucher programme alongside Rosario Martínez, the Councillor for Commerce and Hospitality, and Jorge Almarcha, the President of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Traders (APYMECO). This year, the initiative offers a total of five hundred thousand euros from the municipal budget, which translates to a one million euro impact on the local economy.

From Monday, the seventeenth of November, individuals will be able to acquire the vouchers electronically through the dedicated website torrevieja.bonoconsumo.es. Applicants must be over eighteen and can purchase up to fifty euros in vouchers, which equates to one hundred euros to spend at participating establishments.

In-person voucher sales will commence on Tuesday, the eighteenth of November and continue through to Wednesday, the twenty-sixth of November, between nine in the morning and nine in the evening at the APYMECO office located at c/ Ramón Gallud, number one hundred and forty-five. A total of three thousand four hundred appointments will be available for collection on the fourteenth and fifteenth of November starting at nine in the morning.

The vouchers can be redeemed at participating establishments from the twenty-fourth of November until the thirty-first of December this year. Notably, individuals with functional diversity or physical impairments can acquire the vouchers through parents or legal guardians with proper documentation.
