In AlmoradÃ, local police have apprehended an individual believed to be connected to a recent wave of thefts in the area. The arrest took place while a morning patrol was monitoring several locations known for criminal activity. Upon spotting the police vehicle, the suspect, wearing a white T-shirt, fled on foot through several streets.
During the chase, officers had to exercise caution as they pursued the suspect against traffic. Their efforts were successful, and they ultimately managed to catch and restrain the individual. The suspect is currently at the Civil Guard barracks in AlmoradÃ, awaiting judicial proceedings.
This recent arrest adds to another made by the Civil Guard on the preceding Friday, when a different suspect was also detained for involvement in thefts, primarily from vehicles. The local authorities remain vigilant as they continue to address the concerns related to crime in the community.
