A remarkable community effort has resulted in the rescue of an eagle that had been spotted roaming around Heredades, in the municipality of Almoradí, for several weeks. The presence of the eagle had raised concerns among local residents. Following several alerts from citizens, the Nature Protection Service, known as Seprona, was contacted to intervene.

The highly skilled team from Seprona quickly coordinated the operation to safely capture the eagle without any incidents. Thanks to the collaboration between the community and the authorities, the bird was successfully rescued and is now in the hands of a professional falconer for proper care.
