A tragic accident in Orihuela, Alicante, has resulted in the death of a fifty-two-year-old man and left five others injured. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon on Don Fernando street, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
The Centro de Información y Coordinación de Urgencias, known as CICU, confirmed that they received the alert around four thirty PM. A SAMU unit and two Basic Life Support units were dispatched to the scene to provide immediate medical assistance.
Upon arrival, medical personnel sadly confirmed the man’s death and treated five others, aged between twenty-eight and seventy-one, for minor injuries and bruises. The injured individuals were subsequently transported to Hospital Vega Baja in Orihuela for further treatment.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation as authorities aim to determine the causes of this unfortunate event.
