The National Police of Orihuela, in coordination with the Dedicated Unit of the National Police to the Valencian Community and the Local Police of Rojales, has conducted a joint operation concerning immigration control and inspections at a leisure venue in the town centre. The operation, which took place on the afternoon of the twenty-third of October, is part of planned actions to prevent administrative offences and to regulate the administrative status of foreign citizens.

The intervention involved specialised forces in immigration matters and public safety from the National Police, supported by the canine unit of the Local Police of Rojales. As a result of the operation, six individuals were arrested for remaining in the country irregularly, while one was detained on an outstanding judicial warrant. Additionally, five reports were issued for the possession or consumption of toxic drugs, narcotics, or psychotropic substances, alongside two for illegal possession of firearms, in accordance with Organic Law four of two thousand and fifteen on the Protection of Citizen Security.

Inter-institutional collaboration has facilitated an effective operation, reinforcing institutional cooperation between the Orihuela Police Station, the Dedicated Unit of the Valencian Community, and the Local Police of Rojales. This joint effort aims to ensure safety and compliance with current regulations.

Such operations are part of broader preventive measures and controls designed to ensure respect for legality and maintain safe leisure environments in the province of Alicante.
