The Torrevieja Council has announced a new economic aid programme aimed at supporting families who have had or adopted children during the year twenty twenty-four. The initiative, which is backed by a budget of three hundred thousand euros, will be available to over six hundred families in the municipality. Applications for this assistance will open on Tuesday, twenty-eight October, and will remain available for thirty business days after the official publication in the Provincial Bulletin.

Each eligible family can receive four hundred and fifty euros for every child born or adopted. In cases of multiple births, families can apply for assistance for each child. This initiative is designed to promote birth rates and support family well-being in Torrevieja, reinforcing the local government’s commitment to social and family policies.

To apply, individuals must preferably use the Electronic Headquarters of the Torrevieja Council or present their application in person at the SAIC offices. Key requirements include being registered as a resident in Torrevieja for at least three uninterrupted years and showing legal residency in Spain. The programme will operate on a direct grant basis until the allocated funds are exhausted, with applications being processed in order of submission.

Through this effort, the Torrevieja Council reaffirms its commitment to social policies and direct support for families in the community, emphasising the importance of family welfare in local governance.
