On Saturday, the eighteenth of October, Los Montesinos experienced one of the highlights of its patronal festivities, the Carnival Parade. Starting at half past six in the evening, the main streets of the municipality were transformed into a vibrant spectacle filled with colour, joy, and community spirit. Hundreds of locals participated, featuring uniquely crafted floats made by local associations, groups of friends, and festive clubs, all of whom paid meticulous attention to detail. The enthusiastic applause from spectators filled the air as children, young people, and adults paraded to the rhythm of music, creating a lively atmosphere of collective celebration.

As night fell, the festivities continued in the Plaza Sagrado Corazón with the Etiqueta Show, a lively event that commenced at eleven o’clock at night. This performance sustained the festive spirit with an evening filled with music and entertainment, drawing in numerous attendees who revelled in the celebrations well into the early hours of the morning.

Today, the festive programming in Los Montesinos carries on with a distinctly different yet equally engaging activity: the Gymkana Urbana, known as Desafío Montesinos. Scheduled to begin at half past five in the afternoon at the Town Hall Square, this event calls upon teams of three to five participants to tackle various challenges that blend ingenuity, skill, and teamwork.

Designed to entertain audiences of all ages, this engaging activity serves as an excellent opportunity to conclude the festive weekend with adventure and collective entertainment, ensuring that the spirit of the celebrations continues.
