The Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and Culture Councillor, Antonio Quesada, have officially visited the La Mata Municipal Library after the successful completion of renovation works. The library is located on Calle Alta in the Torrevejense district. Significant improvements have been made, including the installation of new large-format porcelain tiling that preserves the original colour design of the building’s façade.

In addition to the façade renovations, the library has received updates including a new automatic roller shutter and a modern air conditioning unit. These enhancements aim to create a more comfortable and accessible environment for visitors.

The interior of the library has also been repainted, further refreshing the space. The total investment for these upgrades amounts to thirty-five thousand eight hundred and eighty-five euros.

These improvements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the library but also improve the functionality and comfort for the community it serves, encouraging greater usage of the facilities by residents and visitors alike.
