A twenty-six-year-old woman has been hospitalised with injuries described as apparently not serious following a car accident in San Javier. The incident occurred when she lost control of her vehicle on the AP-seven motorway and plummeted down an embankment. Emergency services were alerted at eleven forty-six in the morning on Wednesday, the first of October, after witnesses reported seeing the car fall and land overturned beside the service road.

Emergency response teams, including local police from San Javier and San Pedro del Pinatar, Civil Guard patrols, and ambulances from the Emergency Services and Civil Protection, quickly arrived at the scene. Firefighters from the Murcia Region’s Fire Extinction and Rescue Consortium also attended to assist with the situation.

The woman, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, received immediate medical attention from on-scene paramedics. A Mobile Emergency Unit from the regional emergency service subsequently transported her to Hospital Los Arcos del Mar Menor in San Javier.

Fortunately, her injuries have been assessed as apparently not serious, raising hopes for a swift recovery. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently under investigation.
