Benidorm is set to host the filming of the British television series ‘Death in Benidorm’, produced for Channel Five. The production will include extras from various nationalities, and an open casting call is scheduled for Friday, the third of October, from ten in the morning to two in the afternoon and again from four to eight in the evening at the Meliá Benidorm Hotel.

Men and women aged between twenty and sixty-five from any nationality are welcome to apply, although the organisers have expressed a particular need for Spanish and British extras. Interested individuals must bring recent photographs of their face and full body saved on their mobile phone, as well as a copy of their ID card, banking details, and social security affiliation necessary for processing work contracts.

Selected extras will need to be available for full days on a flexible basis during the shoot. This international filming will enhance Benidorm’s reputation as a prominent audiovisual location, combining elements of mystery and a Mediterranean atmosphere for a British audience.
