A woman was arrested on Saturday in Orihuela Costa following an attempt to steal a watch from an elderly man. The swift response from local residents was crucial, as they alerted the police and managed to detain the suspect until officers arrived on the scene. Upon arrival, police officers took the woman into custody for further proceedings.

At the police station, officials identified the suspect and conducted a formal statement. During this process, authorities uncovered a total of five prior reports involving the same individual, all related to similar incidents. Given the accumulation of evidence against her, the woman has been remanded and is now awaiting judicial proceedings.
