Earlier today, the beach of Los Náufragos in Torrevieja became the site of a water rescue drill organised by the local lifeguard service. Around eleven o’clock, lifeguards simulated the rescue of a man from the water, followed by the performance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This drill aimed to demonstrate the emergency protocols used in real situations to a large number of beachgoers present at the time.

Both the lifeguard personnel and members of the Torrevieja Health Department participated in the exercise, showcasing the effective coordination between the two teams. This collaboration is essential in ensuring swift and efficient responses during potential maritime accidents.
