On Wednesday, the Spanish Agency of Meteorology has confirmed high temperature alerts in thirty-seven provinces across the country, including Valencia. Of these, ten provinces are on an orange alert due to extreme heat, with maximum temperatures expected to reach up to forty-two degrees Celsius. These provinces include Las Palmas, Córdoba, Jaén, Sevilla, Ciudad Real, Toledo, Badajoz, Cáceres, Ourense, and Madrid.

Córdoba and Jaén are likely to experience the highest temperatures, while the remainder of the provinces are under yellow alerts. These include Valencia, La Rioja, Navarra, and several others spread across the country. Notably, Valencia will see temperatures ranging from thirty-six to thirty-eight degrees Celsius in the north and south interior regions of the province.

The prognosis indicates a generally stable atmosphere throughout Spain, with predominantly clear skies and only some high cloud intervals expected, without any precipitation. In addition to the heat alerts, there are active warnings for rough seas in A Coruña, located in Galicia.

Residents are advised to take precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses, especially in the most affected regions with extreme temperatures. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation as the temperatures are expected to remain high in the coming days.
