The AlcaldÃa de Almoradà is implementing several initiatives for the upcoming 2025 Patron Festivals to create a safer and more respectful environment for everyone. The Department of Equality will establish a Violet Point on six nights, providing immediate support for any instances of violence or harassment. This area will be staffed by professionals, including a psychologist and social workers, who will also focus on prevention and awareness.
In addition to this, free protective materials will be distributed, including special cup holders with a straw hole to prevent substance tampering, and Centinela bracelets capable of detecting over twenty two types of drugs in drinks. These bracelets integrate QR technology to activate emergency protocols rapidly, providing effective tools against potential chemical submission cases.
Moreover, the Community Prevention Unit for Addictive Behaviours will run the campaign
