Alicante province continues to experience high temperatures and humidity, though the State Meteorological Agency reports a forecast of storms for Thursday. The agency has activated a yellow alert for rain in the province’s interior. Notably, the forecast suggests that cooler days are on the horizon, expected to be the most pleasant since early June.

Friday is also likely to see storms across various areas including Alicante city, Alcoy, and Benidorm. This comes after weeks of persistent heat. Additionally, the Generalitat Valenciana has issued a high fire risk warning for the entire Valencian Community, with some regions still at extreme alert levels.

Currently, temperatures in Alicante reach a maximum of thirty-one degrees Celsius, while minimums drop to twenty-five in the evening. Despite lower temperatures, tropical nights continue, maintaining a feeling of warmth around thirty-one degrees. In Elche, maximum temperatures reach thirty-two degrees with a minimum of twenty-four.

Other areas such as Benidorm and Torrevieja are reporting slightly milder conditions. The yellow alert previously issued in Orihuela has been lifted, allowing residents to enjoy more comfortable temperatures. However, storms are still anticipated, prompting residents to remain cautious.
