This July, the Torrevieja City Council has appointed ten new officials to enhance public services in the area. The new staff includes two local police agents appointed for replacements, an administrative assistant to assist the Education and Elderly departments, and a support worker for the beaches. This move aims to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of local services.

The Culture Department benefits from the addition of three support staff, two caretakers, and an administrative assistant. These new appointments are intended to extend the operating hours of the city’s museums and libraries, providing residents with greater access to cultural resources.

In addition to these new roles, thirty-eight local police agents have successfully completed the first stage of training at the Valencian Institute of Public Safety and Emergencies. They will now embark on their practical training within the city, a significant step towards achieving their designation as career officials.

María José Ruiz, the Councillor of Personnel and Internal Regime, expressed her gratitude to the Personnel Department for their ongoing dedication to enhancing the city council’s capabilities. She emphasised the importance of these appointments in improving services for the residents of Torrevieja.
