The State Meteorological Agency has activated a yellow alert for heat across Málaga, the Vega del Segura, the Cartagena Camp, and Mazarrón in Murcia, as well as in southern Alicante today. Citizens in these areas should be cautious, as temperatures are forecasted to climb between thirty six and thirty nine degrees Celsius during peak daylight hours.

In addition to the heat alerts, the meteorological agency anticipates typical Atlantic weather patterns to continue influencing the peninsula. This will bring cloudy intervals mainly in the northern regions with potential light showers, particularly in Galicia, the Cantabrian Sea, and the Pyrenees. There are slight chances of isolated rain in the northeastern coastal mountains as well.

The Balearic Islands are also expected to experience cloudy weather with a low chance of rain in Mallorca. Meanwhile, Canary Islands can expect cloudy skies with some light rain possible in the mountainous areas. However, stable weather will predominate in most of the country, bringing clear or slightly cloudy skies.

As for temperature changes, maximum temperatures are predicted to rise in the Atlantic areas, while decreasing in the eastern third and the Balearics. Night temperatures are unlikely to drop below twenty two to twenty four degrees Celsius in much of the Mediterranean area, creating discomfort for those in southern and eastern regions. Winds will be moderate overall but will vary in intensity across the country, particularly in Galicia and the Mediterranean coastal areas.
