An eighty two year old woman was rescued from the water this afternoon at Playa de Levante in Cabo de Palos. Emergency services were alerted to the situation at fourteen thirty after a lifeguard reported that the woman was experiencing serious breathing difficulties.
A medical response unit from the Emergency Health Management arrived on the scene quickly. They provided immediate assistance to the woman on the beach, ensuring her safety and stability.
Following the initial treatment, the rescue team decided to transfer her to Santa LucÃa Hospital in Cartagena for further evaluation and comprehensive medical care.
Authorities remind beachgoers to stay vigilant and report any signs of distress to lifeguards and emergency services promptly.
