A tragic accident occurred on Thursday evening in Pilar de la Horadada, resulting in the death of a fifty-five-year-old motorcyclist. The collision took place around six forty in the evening on Camino de Iryda, when the motorcycle collided head-on with a car.
Emergency services arrived promptly but were unable to save the motorcyclist, who sadly succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver of the car was unharmed during the incident.
Authorities from the Guardia Civil are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. They have not yet determined the cause of the accident, and inquiries are ongoing.
This accident highlights the ongoing concerns regarding road safety and the risks motorcyclists face on the roads. The local community is urged to remain vigilant while driving to prevent further tragedies.
